A-Class versus O-Class
Relations that are at or above you in the family tree are O-Class, you have no control over who your parents or siblings are. For example: koʻu makua. Relations below you in the family tree are A-Class implying that there was something you might have done to prevent this relationship from happening. You can choose to have, or not have children and that determines whether you will or won't have grandchildren. For example: kaʻu keiki, kaʻu moʻopuna.
